Least I Can Do vs. Crossovers
I guess, by now, most people in regular contact with webcomics will probably already seen or heard about this strip from the comic of Least I Could Do. As soon as it was out it created quite a ruckus, especially in the associated communities and forums with the lines glowing and the speculating and discussions raging... was LICD and the in the strip depicted comics, some of the most wellknown and established comics in the community, going to enter a mega-crossover in the near future?

Now, a couple of days and strips later, it seems to be clear that there's no crossover imminent, and indeed it would also have been one majestic undertaking if that would have been the case, dwarfing every previous known projects, especially in terms of readership!

Off course, Ryan Sohmer and Lar Desouza could have been planning to use the characters as extended cameos for a planned plotline, but idea now looks to be more in the direction of playing a parody on crossovers in general, "taking a piss" on them so to speak if you shall go by the initial front page and the following strips, especially this one, and though I personally don't agree with Rayne's statement with regard to crossovers, I think the coming strips will be worth reading, especially since Sohmer isn't exactly one to hold his mouth on a given subject, so it could be interesting to see his take on this as well as what kind of discussions it will spark...
